Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle is so much more than simply a castle. Walk through a mediaeval household as it prepares for battle in 'Kingmaker 1471'. See the Castle's armour collection and feel the weight of a sword in our Armoury. Descend into the dark, damp dungeon and walk through the torture chamber.

The baronial Great Hall and six lavishly decorated State Rooms are at the very heart of the Castle and bring to life the history of the Castle's treasures. Join a Victorian household as it prepares for a party in 'A Royal Weekend Party' and see some of the most respected figures of society in the late 1800s.

Climb the Towers and Ramparts for spectacular views of Warwick and the surrounding countryside and imagine yourself as a mediaeval bowman ready to defend the Castle.

Also, discover how electricity was first generated to light up the Castle in the restored Victorian Mill and Engine House and explore the 60 acres of landscaped Grounds and Gardens.

There is a full programme of events throughout the year. For further information visit our website.
